Every once in a while you come across a musician that you feel under your skin. The problem with these artists is that all too fast you feel that they know you, and that it's totally normal, but it's not. because I don't really know you. I know what I think you mean in your songs, but that's just the way I feel, covered up in your voice and words.
so i guess being a listener to music is being a little self centered in a way. because Conor Oberst was talking about his experience in "You will", but all I thought about was my own and how they must match immensely.
I think I'm telling you this because your words moved me very much, and it's not often you get to say that to an up and coming artist. and I felt it was important that I say it somewhat clearly, and not just leave a comment on your youtube stating how similar you look to Conor and how nice your voice is. (not that it isn't)
I just think you're more than that, and wanted to let you know.
plus, you seemed like a semi-decent person, so a part of me thought you'd appreciate it.
