F*ing Awesome.
Nothing Lays Beyond just finished as we got in. (I caught a pick, where by "caught" I mean I felt something hit my arm and managed to catch.)
Prowlers cancelled...
Desert...
It was fun. It feels unripe. Looking forward to hear from these guys.
Elvenking.
Uh.
Turns out I know all of their songs by heart too.
Their show was over and already was I missing them.
Damna is a f*ing Emo kid, but such an awesome singer.
Drummer / "Symohn"... Who is this guy? Missing the rhythm, missing parts, wtf.
Jakob did an incredible job on the bass, with the tough 1/16s and nice lines, singing the tough backing vocals.
Don't think I stood still too much.
Still, same ole' problem with them is that the songs are very much alike. Don' think they solved it.
The Scythe is an album I didn't like in real time, but the Divided Heart was pretty awesome.
They have lots of epic, 5minutes< songs, but they only played (and finished with) The Neverending Nights.
Also, no love for WYRD even though it's IMHO their best album F*ing politicks.
I want a full show, with Conjuring of the 14th and A Dreadful Strain and Seasonspeach and Midnight Circus and A Poem for the Firmament...
Suppose will have to wait 'till after the Pagan Manifesto business.
Salem.
First time I see their bass player. I dislike low-B tuning.
Nir Nakav was incredible with a three coloured beard.
Strange that this is first time I see them live. Knew all the playlist by heart (songs earlier than A Moment of Silence were included in Strings Attached.)
Zeev mixed Winter's Tear and Eyes to Match a Soul, anouncing The Edge of the Void after the former even though the original list declared it after the latter.
Basically, diverse and fun set with songs from literaly all albums: Doom from AMoS, death from Collective Demise, some extreme from Necessary Evil. (Why no songs from Playing God?...)
זאב מבצע קריעה בעיירה בוערת.
Good times.
DT...
They were just so fucking good.
Their execution was flawless, no missed beats, notes or lyrics I could notice.
The incredible presence of Mikael.
First time I noticed the uniting theme of ("This song is about guys who aren't like you, people who are - ") LOST TO APATHY and The FATALIST.
A pair of ballads: 1 ballad I can't remember and then IRIDIUM.
The video art is awesome.
I should get the Construct.
Didn't get the setlist this time.
They did play Punish My Heaven, Terminus.
Mikael let a gal from the crowd sing with him the female parts of The Mundane and The Magik (Thanks!!)
Therein (Projektor)
They were just so fucking good.
Came back for the Encore with the incredible Lethe, (Something from the new album, something I don't remember) and went out with the carol of Misery's Crown.
