How did I get so lucky to meet you...?

You were there when I drank too much and got sick.

You were there when I woke up the next day, and brushed my teeth with your tooth brush.

You were looking for me as I finished working and knocked on my door asking me out.

You were there even when I told you we couldn't be together

but then called you at 4 am. And you came.

That weekend we both went home on a bus, and I couldn't get to my house on Shabbat.

So you said I can stay in your place

And from that moment we were never apart.

You were beside me when my dad told me he's getting married and I started to cry.

You held me, wiped my tears and said- Everything will be allright.

You took me to a hotel on my birthday! And TWO days later we were on a flight.

You got high with me in Amsterdam and took pictures of us everywhere...

When we got back we moved in together, and carried that King size mattres all the way though the boardwalk on a Bellboy cart,

How wired is that?!

How did I get so lucky to meet you?

When we moved to Rishon and actually rented our own place!

Bought our own flat screen TV! hung some pictures on the wall..

Coocked together, host friends together, went shopping for groceries together.

When we argued and made up.

When we kissed.

When I got the lady thing every month and you rubbed my back.

When we felt for a beer in the middle of the night

When we quit smoking..

When we did the laundry

When we woke up together smelly everyday.

When you laught at something on TV, or watched soccer.

When I cried at movies and you called me a whiner.

When the dream had to stop cuase we couldn't afford it anymore.

And we had to go live with our parents once more.

So I got a job

And you starded studying.

I argued with my mom all the time and couldn't stop crying.

I quit my job after one month and found another

You kept stuying and made the best of the matter.

Now we talk on phone everyday,

I get to see you once a week if Im lucky.

You got me this cute pillow cause you thought it would make me happy.

That weekend you showed up to celebrate my birthday! I was so surprised!

And this is why I had to write

this whole thing about how lucky I am

To fall inlove with a guy like you.

Who loves me back

so honestly true.

And I wanted to let you know,

even though we're miles apart

you still are, exactly where you were-

Deep deep inside my heart!
