איך הכל התחיל? ריתוק בצלמון. תורנות מטבח. שיר אשר מזכיר ללב שיש דרך אחרת. אבל יש התנגדות, כעס, ריקנות. כעס על הצבא, כעס על המשפחה, כעס על חוסר היכולת להתמודד. הכעס גדול, ואת כל זה סהר מקבלת.

ואז..מראה מוכר. רייצ'ל. דיבור של שתי דקות. התחלה של משהו. באותו סוף שבוע...נגיעה. נגיעה שמתחילה להזיז את הדברים מבפנים.

עכשיו שאיכשהו אני מצליח לפקוח למשפחה את העיניים, הם סוגרים אותם חזק מתמיד, ע"י ההרגל או הנוחיות הרגעית. לא רואים מעבר. ההורים מתלוננים על הסבים, ובפנים אני רואה איך בעוד כמה שנים הם יכולים להתנהג כמו שהסבים התנהגו. לא בטוח, אבל זה יכול לקרות.

לדבר איתה, לא לדבר איתה? לזרום? אני בקושי מרגיש שאני יכול לזרום. אני יכול לדבר איתה, ובפעם שעמדתי לדבר, הלכתי לישון, וכשקמתי הרגשת הוודאות חלפה. לא להסתגר בוודאות שהיא אינה נכונה, לדעת שעדיין הכל אפשרי. אולי אתה רוצה לאהוב, אבל אל תכניס אותך למסגרת שלא באה ממאה אחוז של רגש נקי, לא רק רצון. עדיין אפשר לדבר. לשאול מה קורה, אם קורה. לפחות לדעת יותר, להיות פחות מוטרד, כדי לסיים את זה, למצוא את הכוח.

לפעמים אני מרגיש שאני פשוט רוצה לצעוק שאני אוהב אותה. פעם אחת הרגשתי שאם היא תהיה איתי, לא תהיה לי בעיה לעשות כל מה שאני רוצה, אני לא ארגיש חלש. אני לא בטוח שזה מה שיקרה אם אני כן אהיה איתה.   כשלא יכולתי, החפצים שלה היו לידי. כובע, דף קטן ופלאפון. אם אמצא עט אוכל לכתוב לה. מצאתי עט, וכתבתי:"אם הייתי נשאר בראש, הייתי מדבר איתך".

וזהו. לא נראה לי שראתה, ואם היא תראה, היא תנחש שזה אני? כנראה. היא יודעת שמשהו קורה.

לפני שלושה שבועות, היא נתנה לי מבט, עם עיניים גדולות, מבט המתחנן לעזרה, רוצה לשאול משהו, רוצה לדבר. היה לי קשה לראות את מבטה נעוץ בי, אבל רציתי לשאול אותה אחרי זה אם הכל בסדר. החניכים הגיעו, ולא הייתה הזדמנות.

אבל זה עוד לא נגמר, תהיה עוד הזדמנות ליישב את מה שצריך ליישב.

אז ככה הכל התחיל, וככה הוא ממשיך. ומאז אותו כעס וריקנות אני מנסה לחזור למי שאני. לא לשכוח שום דבר בדרך.
