Why do they cut their hair!?!?!?


I keep asking myself.
Why do older, mature, women cut their hair short.
Long hair is beautiful, it is precious...
I believe that it is so rarely looked upon with the right and just respect that it should have.
Its long and lush strands reaching to the ground in their everlasting dance.
the wind kissing and playing with it.
just the mass of options is magnificent.
then why?
please tell my why?
