Deal’s Gap, A 21km road, winding through dense forests in the Appalachian Mountains. It sound nice but what makes it the Mecca of the motorcycle riders of the USA are the 328 turns and curves along that short road. It is in Tennessee, a sparsely populated area, and the legend said that every year a few people are going off the road, misgauging the curve and get lost in the dense forest, wounded or dead, only to be found in the fall, when the leaves fall. To ride this road it called “Taming the Dragon”
I like the bike, I’m getting more and more comfortable with it, and tomorrow at 5 AM we are going south. Meanwhile, I cruised down town, while listening to my favorite station WBGO Jazz 88, I know the station since the times I lived in NY, and I know the city so well, it was nice to visit all the small places, for a quick drink, music or just to see interesting people.
The down side is that I did not fuck or made love to a women since the beautiful, adventurous love in Ein Hod just before I left Israel. Not good…
