הרעיון לפוסט הזה צץ במוחי כשבהיתי יום אחד בטלוויזיה ללא ענין רב ולפתע עלתה פרסומת עם שירם הישן של הרולינג סטונס She's a rainbow. טוב, הייתי מעדיף שלשיר יקראו He's a rainbow אבל החלטתי להתעלם מהטעות הקטנה של מיק ג'אגר וחבריו ללהקה. השיר פשוט כמו יין ישן וטוב שתמיד שומר על רעננותו, כמו הלהקה הזאת בעצם שכבר מתזזת על הבמות למעלה מארבעים שנה כאילו הם עדיין בחורים צעירים בנים עשרים ומשהו. הצבעים בקשת של הסטונס הזכירו לי את השיר Colours של דונובן, עוד זמר פולק מהתקופה הרחוקה ההיא שאני מאוד אוהב. לצורך הפוסט הזה בחרתי שיר אחד לכל צבע. השתדלתי לגוון גם בתקופות של השירים השונים. אם שכחתי איזה צבע שמישהו אוהב, אני מתנצל מראש. אתחיל עם השקט של דונובן ואסיים עם הקצב של הסטונס ובאמצע כל השירים, הצבעים והבחורים.
