לפני כמה שבועות הכנתי בחופזה דיסק צרוב ובלתי חוקי לאבא שלי, ובו מבחר שירים אקלקטי במיוחד - מ-I Get Around של ה-Beach Boys, דרך Hip Hop Hurray ועד D-I-S-C-O של Ottawan (יחי הקלאב-מד).

בין הפנינים שצרבתי שם, מופיע גם  השיר PIMP של 50 סנט, שכרגע מככב גם כרינגטון שמסמל את התקשרותו של החבר הכי טוב שלי. כידוע, השיר הזה מכיל מבחר מלים מעודנות וקלאסיות למדי, במיוחד הפזמון. אבא שלי ממילא לא מבין אנגלית, ואם כבר הוא מבין - אז לפחות שילמד קללות. בכל אופן, מסתבר שאחותי הקטנה, שנסעה איתו הרבה בחופשת הפסח, נדלקה על הדיסק הזה ושמעה אותו כל הזמן.

אנגלית היא לא יודעת, כי היא בסך הכל בת 8, אבל גם אם אשמיע למישהו דיסק בסינית כל יום, כל היום, הוא יקלוט משהו.

אתמול נסענו לטיול בפורה, והדיסק התנגן. וכשהגיע הטרק של 50 סנט, הבנתי שהיא הקשיבה קצת יותר מדי טוב. ומה היא קלטה? ברור. דווקא את שורת המחץ - That I'm a motherfucking P.I.M.P - היישר מהפזמון. האמת היא שזה לא מפתיע - הפזמון הוא החלק הכי ברור בשיר, וגם מי שיודע אנגלית מעולה יתקשה להבין את כל שאר המלים. את אבא שלי, בכל אופן, זה מאד הצחיק, אבל אני רק אמרתי לה שלא תשיר את זה בבית הספר.

אני כבר רואה את הפתק - "לגברת XXX שלום, ברצוני להסב את תשומת ליבך כי בתך, XXX, נקלטה כשהיא שרה מלים גסות ועושה תנועות של ראפרים כושים. התנהגות זו אינה מקובלת בבית ספרנו, ואבקש ממך להסביר לה זאת. זה מפריע במיוחד בשיעורי התנ"ך ותפילת הבוקר".
