The sun was just rising on Sjörövare Island. I remember it as if it was just the other day. Excitment could be felt since the first ray of light. It was the first cruise of the new Pirate Soul, commanded by Captain Redhood. The cruise was exclusive and only some were invited. Being the navigator of the ship, I was of the first to arrive. Captain Redhood welcomed me.
   "Mr. Michaels!" Exclaimed the Captain.
   "Captain!"
   "Please, call me Guy!"
"Fine, Guy," I giggled. "good morning, then. How are you?"
"I am rather excited, naturally. And you?"
"To tel the truth, I am rather relaxed."
"Are you now?" The Captain wore a curious look. "Then I assume you don't know about one of our guests."
   "What are you-"
"Here she is!" The Captain interrupted with an exclamation. "Dear Miss Mihalko! So glad you could be here!"
He was referring to the first guest who was just coming onboard.
"I am glad I could make it." She said in a western accent. "Almost missed my chariot. Them drivers can't see anything that doesn't have a wallet."
"Funny as always, Miss Mihalko." The Captain said and hugged her.
When they finally seperated, Miss Mihalko noticed me.
"Oh dear, is that you, Damien? Damien Michales?" She said as she came closer to me.
"Wait... Amber?" I asked hasitantly. "Is it really you?"
"Oh, Damien, such a long time. How've you been this past year?"
"Same old. I was unemployed lately. Luckily Guy here offered me a job."
"Oh, you work here?" Amber asked with a shock.
"Navigator." the Captain interrupted. "I had my eye on him for a long time. After the dredful drowning of the Tropical Cruiser, poor Damien was left unemployed. I just had to get my hands on him"
"Seems like you have a high demand." Amber winked at me. "Come visit me when you have the chance."
   "Will do, Ma'am!" I saluted.
As Amber carried on to her cabin onboard, two characters immerged frm the fog. They seemed to be jumping around crazily. The tall one almost hit a tree. I was worried something had happened when the character fell on the ground, but the Captain seemed soothed. He even smiled. Finally the two characters calmed down and started nearing the ship.
"Oy! Capt'n!" Shouted the tall man one. "Finally! We've been lookin' all over for this place! Can't see nothing through this fog!"
"We're happy you made it safely-"
"Safely?!" The woman screamed. "This stupid husband o'mine stupidly bumped into that tree over there and fell on me leg!"
"I told you it was an accident!" The man said.
"It sure didn't seem like you were apologizin'!"
"How can an apology not seem like an apology?! You're just bein' passim-Ouch!" The woman stepped on the man's foot.
"Now ya know how it felt, do ya? Wathc ya'r step next time."
"What in the world is all that screamin' about?" Amber said as she came back from her cabin.
"My stupid husband stepped on me-" She stopped as she noticed Amber. "Oh, it's you." She said with somewhat depressed voice.
The Captain tried to calm the spirits.
"Miss Mihalko, these are Mr. and Mrs.-"
"Yes, I know exactly who they are." She said in a deep, low voice. "Margret, George."
   "Amber." Said the two simultaniously.
   Silence prevailed on the ship.
"Well," Said Amber finally. "if yall could just be a bit more quiet. I have a headache."
"Of course, Miss Mihalko." Said the Captain, and Amber walked back to her cabin.
"I hope our cabin ai'nt nowhere near her's, is it?" Asked Margret.
"No, Mrs. Doe. It is on the other side. Just to the left of us."
The two walked away silently. As they turned to the back of the ship I dared opening my mouth.
"What is going on between those two?"
"A life long rivelry. You see, those two ladies, they are sisters."
"Say what?! How could they be sisters when they seem to hate each other?"
"As I said, Damien. Life long rivelry. It is not my job to tell their tale."
Before I could manage to say another word, a loud, yet unclear shout was heard. As it got louder, a character started emerging from the already thin fog. It was tall and awfully fat. Finally it has emerged wholly, and turned out to be a brown-bearded man.
"Guy! We meet again!" Said the bearded man loudly.
"Yes, it was an awfully long time, Leonard. How've you been lately?"
"Oh, you know, as always. Traveling and eating. I'm still shocked I survived the drowning of the Tropical Cruiser. It was really a shame on the ship."
"Oh, yes. Such a good man he was, that Captain Lakewood."
"Who cares about the Captain?! He was a good man indeed, but not smart, let me tell you. Turns out the first items to drown were the food products. It is really a shame."
"Oh... Well, I suppose it is."
   Leonard turned to me.
"You look familiar... Have we met anywhere?"
"I was the Navigaator on the Tropical Cruiser, sir."
"That's right! The one that slipped on that banana pill at the pool! How could I forget?!" Leonard laughed. "Nice to finally meet you. Leonard Asbag."
"Damien Michales. Nice to meet you, sir". I shook his hand, which proved to be a bad choice. Leonard almost pulled my hand out with his strong grip.
   "So, Captain, my cabin?"
"Number nine, Leonard." Said the Captain, and Leonard left.
The fog had subsequently risen, and the town of Insjö could be seen clearly. It was somewhat ancient, although built only a few decades ago. The building were built of smooth granite stone, and looked beautiful and shiny at the early morning. Dew could be seen on the trees, and birds could be found amongst the long, leafy branches. Insjö was the most imporant port-town of Sjörövare Island, turning it into a great mearchant-town as-well. People have come from far and wide to trade goods in Insjö, or rather to board one of the big cruisers and go on a sea trip.
Finally, the last passanger of Pirate Soul's first cruise arrived. She was a rather short lady, with rather plain clothes.
   "Emily, darling!" Exclaimed the Captain.
"Guy, so good to see you!" Said Emily.
"Oh, Damien, I would like you to meet Emily Darling."
"Nice to meet you, Ma'am." I said, while shacking her hand.
"Emily, darling," interrupted the Captain. "we would like to leave shore, so if you could settle in your cabin..."
"Of course, I understand. I will see you later, then?"
"Of course. You're in cabin number five, dear." Said the Captain. "Please, come with me. Damien!" He called.
   "Yes, sir?"
"Disattach the ship from the dock. We are leaving."
"Yes, sir!" I said, and the Captain walked around to the back of the ship with Emily.
I have done as the Captain ordered, and in about half an hour, we were on our way to mid-sea.
