The artists and the subjects of their art work deal with issues stemming from intimate personal experiences and memories
as well as collective recollections.
The works are concerned with these sometimes traumatic "taboos", while the concept of absurdity hovers above like a dark cloud.
These compositions relate to the present local Israeli reality and are linked to the political, historical and social events, which have a critical impact on our lives.
The artists in the group create a puzzle which reflects a situation where restrictions fall apart at any given moment.
There is a preoccupation with questions and conclusions arising from the sense of loss of universal values in the post modern society.
This is a new search about those same disintegrating boundaries and messages of social values in a dynamic and vibrant culture which create in
all of us dilemmas and a loss of confidence – a feeling of chaos.
…this might be a manifestation of the basic desire and attempt for reorganization, with a yearning for a more peaceful world.
Israeli artists group Named "And I Could Not Say" -For contemporary art.
In the end of summer 2006 a group of artists were formed for a project involving a mutual theme, named “And I Couldn’t Say”,
“And I Couldn’t Say” was born of creative interactions among people whose motive in life is creative art and they will to present a social
statement in an artistic way that touches our cultural needs (or our cultural no-needs) to inspire thought about Israeli human reality in dealing with a crisis.
Report of interpersonal and universal relationships. The verbal challenge gave rise to a need for other forms of representation such as visual art.
Every artist in the group expressed him/herself in his/her own unique language which is derived from an inner experience which
cannot be expressed in any other way and connects to the all humane experience.
