Lag BaOmer
Saturday Night was Lag BaOmer.
We wanted to do something fun, but also something that was Lag BaOmer like.
After a bunch of us discussing what to do, we decided to go to the beach and try to make a bonfire. We werent really counting on the bonfire because its illegal in many public beaches in Israel.
We got to the beach around midnight and we sat and chilled.
Then we all randomly decided to run and jump in the ocean - it was so nice!
The water wasnt so cold and the 12 of us were the only ones on the beach.
When we got out, it was pretty cold an we had no towels...we saw some people doing a bonfire not too far away so we decided to just go say hey and dry off near the bonfire and make new friends.
They let us join but they left soon after and let us continue the bonfire in their backyard.
We all sat around the fire, hanging out and playing music.
It was just a good relaxing night, full of unplanned fun twists.
