People often mistaken me for a left-winger, which annoys me. So when I start explaining my position, they think I'm a right-winger, which is worse. Hence, I decided to put an end to it all and write a post explaining my positions properly.
I do not think Israel really has much of a historic right to exist. Most Jews left this place willingly two thousand years ago when the Romans were here. For some reason they're certain they were expelled, but that's a deliberate lie. Jews have no real mandate over Israel, and their longing or whatever for so long doesn't mean they deserve it. Hey, I can really really want some expensive coat, car, book or whatnot, but if I don't actually buy it, I have no right to claim it my own.
Also, contrary to common belief, Jews only owned 6% of Isreal before 1948, and had to conquer it mostly by force or trickery from the Palestinians (who, contrary to common belief again, showed traces of a national identity since the 16th or 17th century), and some territories were taken by illegal methods from Arabic hands even before 1948 (the librarian from my high school told me a village near it was built on land robbed from Arabs).
So all in all, Israel doesn't have much of a right to exist.
Or at least that would have been the case, if Israel wasn't trying to minimise war crimes nowadays and give Arabs more equality than they get in European countries. Furthermore, it serves as a sanctuary for the Palestinians running away from the Islámo-fascist regime in the Palestinian Territories (no, genii, it's not ‘Palestine'): women escaping ‘honour killing', LGBTs, regime opposers, democrats, even job seekers. The Palestinians, however, put most of their efforts into fighting Israel instead of accepting its help it gives them towards independence: It tried helping them build an airport, and they imported firearms with it; it tried sending them humanitarian support, and they shot at the truck drivers and stole all the food for the government.
All in all, I think Israel does indeed have a right to exist, simply because Palestine doesn't. The Palestinians, if they stay as they are―ignorant, militant, Islámo-fascist, chauvinist, homophobic and whatnot―should never, ever be granted independence. Once they get their independence, they, like Sudan and Uganda, will claim that the horrific crimes against humanity they do are ‘internal affairs' and that foreign countries shouldn't intervene. I say we should bring the mandate system back, to so many countries, most of them African and Middle Eastern. And no, not Israel (though I would like a European rule here...), because it's sufficiently democratic (look up ‘LGBT rights in Israel' and ‘LGBT rights in Ireland / France / Lichtenstein / Germany / Austria' and see for yourself). Expecting Israel (and the rest of the world) to live up to the Nordic standard is absurd at the moment, so it's best to start with a Western European standard. This, however, is non-realistic, because Europe doesn't have the balls it used to; hopefully Obama will realise that the U.S. should invade the Territories and set them straight, just like in Japan. Or at least Israel wakes up and spread fliers with articles from QuranicPath.com proving that the true enemies of Islám are their rulers.
Israel has the full right to deny citizenship to people who claim they want it destroyed, whether they be Arab, Haredic, or just daydreaming left-wing weirdos. Israel has a right to defend itself. But it's done many wrongs to the Palestinian people in the past, and the least it can do is not aggravate it anymore. The conquest of the Strip and the Bank should end, allowing the U.S. to invade and change their education system, which is the foundation for everything.
Oh, and I support Social Democracy like in the Nordic countries.
Actually, you can read all about my views on my June 2009 post, The Sanity Manifesto.
God has Asperger's Syndrome. So did Adam and Eve, till they ate the apple that made them discriminate. Hence God expelled them.
Few angels still walk among us and don't discriminate yet. They are free of the Original Sin; they are the true children of God.
I can reach surprising and alarming levels of stupidity sometimes. I made a truly dreadful mistake that cost me a person very dear to me; but in a sense maybe I should have lost him long ago.
Ég fór, þú fór...
Military service starts soon. Thank Kot. This place is too tiny, I need Tel-Aviv.
Unum diem...
(P.S.: Happy new year, people! Ugh, I’m starting to notice a pattern here: My years don’t begin well at all. Someone please cancel January.)
