The 606 bar was overlooking the pond. He sat there. Looking through the window. He watched the geese strolling the grassy area surrounding the pond. Some ducks were landing in the water. And if it weren’t for the ugly buildings of the convention center behind, the scenery would have been perfect
He sat there. Thinking. People were talking. He didn’t hear them. Their voices turning into a distant hum. A white noise
He remembered how bad he felt not too long ago. How lonely he felt. How much pain was in his heart. How he felt like he lost his smile
But then she wrote him. She told him how much she loves him
She told him how lucky she feels that he allowed her into his heart
She told him how sad she feels when he is sad. How much she wants him to be happy
He read her words. He felt how they go directly into his heart. How these words are pushing away the pain. How they are soothing him. He felt his heart filled with love. Love was overtaking everything. Filling every chamber in his heart. Making it beat faster. Pushing love to his body, with his blood stream. Every heart beat, sending more and more love. Until his entire body was filled with love. Till the last cell
He felt his body nourished by this magical potion. He felt his headache dissolve. He felt the serenity overtaking his body
He looked out the window. It was getting darker now. The lights were flickering on the water. He felt calm. He felt good
The power of words
The power of love
