And there we were

Sitting in the middle of a noisy crowd

Holding each other in a loving embrace

I missed that.

Although I know nothing will ever happen

Although I finally decided to let go a little,

to say to myself - leave it alone

I keep going back to the wantiness,

the neediness.

Those moments give me hope,

where there's no hope at all

Hope,

that something would finally happen, 

that eyes will be open for the first time

And then, we say goodbye

and I say to myself - stupid, leave it alone

like a funny routine
