It's the big day at last! I've been waiting for this to come for a very long time now. Finally, the elections at the U.S.!
Let me clarify something: I've been a supporter of Barack Obama rather shortly after the competition between him and Clinton started. I decided to support him, because I'd heard of how Clinton supporters slander him. Later on, when it became him against McCain, I clearly decided to support him.
Now, I don't understand much about American politics, but there is no way in hell I'll support McCain. Why is that? Because he's a Republican. There's no way in hell electing a Republican can be wise during the Great Depression II, or when Iran keeps making retarded threats (which there's no way Ahmadinijad will actually realise: Iran is soon going to have an election as well, and he won't have time. Besides, he's probably not stupid enough not to realise bombing Israel with nuclear weapon would render it inhabitable for the Palestinians, kill over a milion Arabs, and make the U.S. bomb it to a pulp) that a hot-headed Republican would react to the way a bull reacts to a red curtain, and when the same-sex marriage permission in California is under attack. What the U.S. (like the whole world, basically) needs least is a weak military force, and not letting homosexuals into the military would only weaken it. Do you have any idea how many closet LGBT's participated in the last Gulf War?
Besides, Palin would be a terrible, terrible vice-president. She is pro-life (which is idiotic), supports Abstinence Only education (which is even more idiotic), and she wanted to go seal-hunting(?!) with 'Sarkozy'. And that's just a little list of all her maladies. Taking into account the fact that McCain is 72 years old (born on August 29, 1936), she might become the President. Is that the kind of leader you want the Free World to have?
Alright, so Obama isn't very experienced. But at least he isn't corrupt, nor is he stupid (he has two degrees from Ivy League), and thank the Ceiling Cat he's not a Republican. And I think this is where I should clarify two more things:

Obama is not a Muslim. Wikipedia clearly says he's a Protestant Christian (in the United Church of Christ, which is a Reform church), otherwise he wouldn't have gotten into that scandal with Jeremiah Wright (after which he decided to condemn his racist opinions and end his relationship with his campaign). He did, indeed, attend a school in Indonesia for four years, but that doesn't make him a Muslim. Also, it should be noted that Obama's biological father was a complete atheist by the time he met his mother, and that his step-father was a liberal Muslim (which can, in fact, hardly be considered Muslim).

Obama is not a Black man. His mother is white, which makes him a mulatto. He grew up with his white family from the age of ten and on. (I'm just sick and tired of hearing he's going to be 'The First Black President', because he's not. He'll be the first mulatto, which is a huge advancement, but not the first Black man.)
I made my hypothetic choice; now it's time for the sensible Americans to make their actual one. (Hopefully, my little brother's prediction, that Obama will be elected and quickly shot dead, will not come true. And that would make Joe Biden the President, and he is Roman Catholic... Hopefully Kennedy-style.)
