Magnum opus

  I got inspired by a few things to write something for IsraBlog's current Hot Subject, so here are my Seven Facts:

1. Skinheads are not Neo-Nazis. They're just another youth subculture, like punks and emos. There are black skinheads as well, and there is an organisation named 'SHARP', which stands for 'Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice'. Racism among skinheads was originally towards Pakistani and Indian immigrants in the UK.
2. There are light l's in Russian as well, which sound similar to the Israeli l. I'm sick and tired of hearing Israelis saying 'blat' with a dark l, and think they sound anywhere near a Russian accent. (You should've seen how difficult it was for me to get my father to understand how to say 'lyublyu', which he pronounced as 'loo-blue'.)
3. There is an alternative to being Jewish. It's called being Hebrew. That's what the founders of this country (at least most of them) envisioned, but for some reason the vision disappeared in the early 50's.
4. The Israeli Arabs do not all identify with the Palestinians. Very few of them would like to live in an Arabic country, and would never relinquish their blue I.D.. Some even go to national service, did you know that?
5. Not all Russians are prostitutes or junkies. Some founded the country you inhabit, created the language you corrupt, wrote the literature you ignore (well, I can see why)... and those are only the Jews. Oh, sorry, Hebrews.
6. Before you say the Jewish heritage has beautiful things, go learn a bit about it. You'll find that even if it does have some, they're completely overshadowed by the horrendous ideas expressed in it.
7. I hate you so much, for a myriad of reasons. (Partially because you'll ignore everything you read here, if you even know enough English to read it in the first place.)
