Summer was born and raised in Kansas and is a 2003 graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. She currently works as an engineer at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. In 2002 Summer became a VFR rated private pilot and plans to continue flying to earn more ratings. She also enjoys riding motorcycles. 

Though she has only lived in Houston since January 2004 Summer loves calling it home. Summer also loves calling the Houston Texans her favorite football team. Being a Texans cheerleader has allowed her to meet many people from the Houston community including the awesome Houston Texans fans. Summer takes much pride in being part of a wonderful organization and a group of young ladies that are talented, intelligent, and classy. 

When Summer isn’t working, cheering, flying, or riding she enjoys quiet time at home, talking to family on the phone, or an evening out in the city with friends. She tries to travel as much as possible and likes being outdoors. A day on a boat followed by a good meal and an evening out dancing is Summer’s ideal day.
